South Dakota APEX Accelerator (Formerly SD PTAC) is South Dakota’s resource for business entities to obtain federal, state, and local government contracts.
The APEX Accelerators program, under management of the Department of Defense (DOD) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP), plays a critical role in the Department’s efforts to identify and engage with a wide range of businesses entering and participating in the defense supply-chain. The program provides the education and training that all businesses need to participate to become capable of participating in DOD and other government contracts.
South Dakota APEX Accelerator provides confidential one-on-one services to business representatives at no cost in the following areas: Counseling, Subcontracting, and Navigating Government Contract Resources.
SD APEX provides technical expertise to manufactures, processors and other businesses interested in bidding on and receiving federal, state and local government contracts.
SD APEX provides on-going services for every stage in contracting.
This procurement technical assistance center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
All APEX Accelerators nationwide are positioned to provide one-on-one counseling on doing business with the Federal Government as well as state and local agencies. A business may not use the counseling services of more than one APEX Accelerator unless it is coordinated through their local jurisdiction, should the local counselor need additional guidance/assistance from an APEX Procurement Counselor elsewhere in the country.
